The challange of Pratic against wind has begun in 1994. Since then the Company has begun to be interested in the problems of awining wind resistance, arriving, in 1996, to test its products using the Assites homologation test for the wind resistance, EN European Norm - 1932. The experience makes us understand that the resistance directives are credible. > These considerations allow us to value the awning solidity, such as their weight resistance. But many factors contribute to define how the wind damages an awning. The solidity of the awning is important, but it is important too the capacity of the awning to support the continuative fluctuation of the wind. In other words solidity is not the only guarantee. It is necessary to analyze the effect of the wind on the rigid elements of the awning. These are the considerations that allow us to patent the Flexcontroll system. In order to prove the qualities of this system we needed to prove it with a dynamic test.
