In London under the Brera pergola

Garden pergolas Residential

There are two places in the world where it is possible to find a deep and real culture of Garden Design and they are England and Japan. In London, RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival is one of the most renowned festivals in the field of green architecture; it is an event promoted and organized by Royal Horticultural Society, the most prestigious gardening association in the world with over two centuries of life.

Pratic had the pleasure to take part in the event through its customer The Lower Barn Outdoor Living, leading company in the English market in the design of outdoor spaces, from the design of contemporary gardens to the design and furnishing of outdoor areas.

Great aesthetic and planning attention to detail for the exhibition space: a space that is an expression of the growing trend of last years that sees the garden as a real extension of the interior spaces of the house, which in the presented project has achieved by proposing a hybrid environment, balanced between indoor and outdoor with areas dedicated to the same functions as the living area (lounge area, pergola for relaxation area, convivial area, kitchen).

Protagonist of the space, the Brera bioclimatic pergola presented in a refined Corten finishing and set up as the ideal space to meet, in a simple and functional way, the desire to live gardens and open air spaces with highest freedom, combining two benefits: protection and possibility of total opening.

With a single fast movement, silent and elegant, the sun-shading blades of Brera slide and compact in a small space. Thus, it is possible to look at the sky and enjoy the desired light when the cover withdraws, compacting completely or partially; or it is possible to take advantage of the great comfort in terms of temperature, ventilation and protection.

When opened, Brera cuts out a large space in the sky, with sun-shading blades that overlap one to another, thus reducing the space. Closed, it offers protection from sun, wind and rain thanks to the careful design by Pratic, designed for a use suitable in all weather conditions.
