Shading without overwhelming: this is the principle behind the project carried out by the dealer Tendaggi Di Marco & Angeli for a modern villa in the province of Udine. A residence with a bold architectural style, where the wide glass walls visually connect the interiors with the garden and the pool; this latest, a key element of the landscape project.

Shading the wide glass walls was exactly the main need of the owners, who nevertheless didn’t want to create shade on the water or compromise the architectural balance of the house. For this reason, the solution offered by the vertical blind T-Square by Pratic was perfect, adjusted for the villa in four modules measuring between 1.7 and 3.2 meters wide with a fixed height of 2.75 meters.

Refined and compact, T-Square stands out for the squared aluminum box, from which gets its name: a detail enhancing the house façade and protecting the canvas once the blind is rolled up. Coated in a Dark Chocolate finish using nontoxic elements certified for their resistance against weather elements, humidity, UV and salt, the box perfectly matches with the clear-cut geometries of the villa, thus becoming an element of architectural continuity. The micro-perforated Screen fabric in sand/bronze shade filters the light and while reducing the dazzle without hindering the view over the green. The automated sliding on stainless steel cables keeps the design minimal and smooth, while the Magnetic Lock System device ensures maximum stability of the canvas, even in strong breezes, thanks to the magnetic hooking system that absorbs wind stress.

Equipped with an anemometer for automatic closure in case of gusts or weather changes, T-Square stands out for the perfect balance between aesthetic sobriety and technical rigor. A solution interpreting the sunshade as part and parcel of the architectural project, with a silent, functional and stylistically consistent presence.
