In the heart of the Valle d ‘Itria, in the Puglia region, the beauty of the territory tells an ancient story, where vast areas of centuries-old olive trees merge with fascinating “lamie” and “trulli”, the traditional stone houses that today are the protagonists of a new idea of hospitality: authentic, immersive, luxury.
A refined example is the holiday home “Under The Apulian Sky“, set in the green of the landscape and made from an ancient ruin, expertly restored by the passionate owners in the name of conservation and contemporary comfort, from which guests can benefit throughout the year and, in particular, during the summer. Designed in collaboration with the retailer Tenda In of Martina Franca to complement the wooden pergola already present outside the “lamia”, Opera is the ideal environment for spending time outdoors, sheltered from the hot sun of Puglia. Its cover with sunshade blades adjustable from zero to 140 degrees allows for regular shading and ventilation, offering a pleasant recirculation of the air even during the hottest hours. On rare bad weather days, Opera’s blades can be closed to shield the environment from the light rains that are conveyed along the gutters integrated into the supporting posts.
Tailor-made relaxation
It is therefore not surprising that the pergola has immediately become the privileged place for open-air breakfasts and lunches, thanks to its 24 square metre surface that allows you to host a large table, perfect for welcoming all the guests of the holiday home. But during the day Opera also becomes a cool corner of relaxation where you can place sunbeds and deck chairs to sunbathe, adjusting the light supply in a personalised and intuitive way, thanks to the remote control management.
In the evening, on the other hand, the dimmable light of the Quadra Light LEDs, positioned on the sunshade blades, is amplified by the presence of floor lamps, connected to the pergola through the power sockets integrated into the supporting posts. In this way, the space blends with the soft lighting of the outdoor area, becoming even more evocative after the sun goes down.
