Pergolas Residential
House and garden spaces meet under Opera’s sunshade blades, providing a living room deep in the green to be enjoyed in all seasons. That’s the case of a small villa with a classic style in Bassano del Grappa (Vicenza) which has chosen to expand its surface with further 40 square meters of comfort and design, branded by Pratic. A versatile patio combining protection and contact with nature thanks to the technology of two bioclimatic pergolas modules fully customized.
To create a coherent extension of the spaces inside the house, the building required ad-hoc planning allowing the new covering to be positioned under the long and narrow balcony on the façade. Thanks to the versatility of Opera and the experience of the seller ABITEC it has been possible to realise a custom-made project, in which the profiles of the pergola blend seamless with the door’s shutters made of glass and aluminium and with a special under-cladding for the terrace, produced by the Padua-based window and door manufacturer.
The result is an environment perfectly integrated into the villa’s lines and enhanced by the use of corten colouring, which recurs among the pergola’s finishes and in details such as fixtures, gutters and railings.
On the outer three sides, Opera is shielded from Slide Glass 60 sliding glass walls allowing the space to be opened at will: this feature is also offered by the covering with sunshade blades adjustable up to 140 grades and the Raso awnings, integrated into the profiles. In this way, it is possible to make the most of natural lighting and ventilation during sunny days or to ensure a sheltered and cozy room in case of bad weather; all this is managed by an intuitive remote control and by practical weather sensors.
With the aim of using the garden all year round, the owners have also chosen to furnish the pergola with a heater, ideal to warm up the room during the coldest months. Lastly, the Spot Lights with white light beam integrated onto the blades offer a unique comfort, thus providing the open-air living room with a suffused and relaxing atmosphere even at night.
