In a refined apartment facing the lake and surrounded by UNESCO heritage vineyards in Lavaux, Switzerland, the Brera pergola by Pratic and the accurate design by the partner In-Out Moments transform the terrace in a comfortable and versatile open-air room, equipped with a kitchen and a living area.
The wall-mounted bioclimatic pergola takes advantage of its adjustable covering to give a customized protection to the outdoors of about 25 square meters. The sunshade blades can indeed move back, thus unveiling the sky, or close completely to protect the underlying space in case of sun or bad weather, by making rainwater flow under the flooring, thanks to a guttering system integrated into the uprights.
Furthermore, the profiles allow Raso vertical awnings to roll down on the open sides of the north-west oriented terrace: the perfect solution for creating privacy but above all for guaranteeing comfort at sunset, when sunrays become lower and stronger. The additional upright also allow to create a practical access to the house, thus leaving the passageway free even when awnings are down.
Colours and accessories finally make the project perfect. The volcano grey nuance of Brera creates continuity with the colours chosen for windows, doors and railings; whereas, at night, perimeter Led line lights colour with customised shades the pergola’s space, by providing it with essential and sophisticated lighting.
