What has been combining art and design since forever is the selfsame capacity to innovate and evolve continuously through dialogue and ideas’ confrontations. It is from this very universal theme and as timely as ever that this new Illegio international exhibition is dedicated, that starting from the 11th of June to the 8th of November is bringing in the small Carnia village fifty extraordinary art pieces coming from museums and collections all over the world.
For the extraordinary cultural enterprise’s twenty-second year, Pratic renews with pride its support to a reality that has been capable of transforming a village of barely three hundred inhabitants into an international art and beauty destination, but a space of exchange and growth too.
“Il Dialogo”, an exhibition curated by Father Alessio Geretta, will accompany the visitors into a two thousand and five hundred history’s years long trip, between masterpieces signed by Caravaggio, Picasso, Chagall, Hayez, Tiepolo and several other great masters. An itinerary reflecting the confrontation value, on the truth’s research, on the necessity to build authentic relationships among people, cultures and different visions.
A message finds a natural syntony in Pratic’s planning philosophy too, from the beginning focused on creating spaces capable of nurturing the wellbeing, connection and harmony with the surrounding environment. To greet the visitors it will be once again Opera, the bioclimatic pergola, symbol of the enterprise’s outdoor evolution, which will host the exhibition’s bookshop surrounded by the suggestive Carnic Alps’ panorama. Thanks to the orientable blades and to the panoramic glass closures, Opera will provide a protected place and open to the landscape, where architecture and nature create a unique dialogue and in which everyone is invited to join.
