Private House

To create a setting to enjoy indoor and outdoor spaces with the utmost comfort, keeping in mind high eco-sustainability standards:

This is the aim that guided the setting up of the outdoor spaces of a penthouse in an architectural complex dating back to the postwar period, located in Milan, near Wagner Square.

A goal achieved thanks to the use of automation, a ceiling radiant-panel heating system, and presence of the bioclimatic pergola Opera. This structure belongs to the Bioclimatic series by Pratic– a series of outdoor solutions following the principles of bioclimatic architecture, a subject that focuses on a design enhancing and respecting the environment, on the reduction of polluting processes, on the reduction of maintenance interventions.

This made to measure, 100% aluminium structure can be wall-mounted. It is equipped with special sun-shading blades that rotate up to 140°, allowing a natural adjustment of light and air ricirculation. An advantage resulting in the climatic comfort felt under the structure, but also inside the building, that looks out through a huge glass wall pointing at south-west. As a consequence, air-conditioning consumption is reduced. Furthermore, thanks to the rain sensors that automatically operate the complete closure of the blades, you can enjoy outdoor living in every weather condition, all year long.

A window on the roofs of Milan, a project featuring a distinctive style quality, where opposing sensations blend together thanks to the use of warm and cold materials, and to the combination of state of the art systems and components. A concept of elements conceived to achieve a real haven: a space to find one’s tranquility and intimacy. Therefore, the Zip Raso awning integrated into Opera is an extra that can’t be missed since it guarantees additional protection and privacy. When not used, it completely disappears into the supporting profile of the structure. An ad-hoc solution created by Pratic is made possible thanks to the ability to design– the production made in Italy– the attention to detail, and the experience of a company that, since 1960, sets the rules of open air culture.
